Elissa Lin Rathe has been practicing in the mental health profession for over 31 years. She has a private practice as a psychotherapist in mid-town Manhattan, and one in Yonkers, NY. Elissa was a full-time faculty at Nyack College’s Alliance Graduate School of Counseling for nine years. In 2012, she scaled back to adjunct teaching in order to better focus her time and energy on her ten spiritual daughters. She is the proud “grandma” of her spiritual daughters’ biological children, and enjoys her play dates with her grandkids.

She has been married 26½ years to Alan Rathe – her soulmate since 1980.
